About

Mr Cavallari is the design studio of Lucio Cavallari — a practice working where light, sound and interaction meet.

For over fifteen years I’ve designed experiences that bring those elements together: interactive installations, automotive interfaces, lighting and stage work, and art direction. The work spans music and culture — Dua Lipa, Arctic Monkeys, UNKLE, Block9 — and the automotive world, including UX and illumination design at Volvo Cars and HMI design at Geely for the ZEEKR–Lynk & Co concept car.

It’s a research-led practice. Alongside the studio I completed an MSc in Architectural Lighting Design at KTH Stockholm, studying how light shapes perception, behaviour and well-being — findings I bring back into every project, from a car cabin to a concert.

I design for people first: usable, considered, and alive to how light and sound actually feel.

This archive is experimental and associative. Some references are intentionally exploratory, while people, collaborators and projects are linked as accurately as possible.
